European Day of Languages
Date: 26th Sep 2017 @ 7:00pm
European Day of Languages
We celebrated European Day of Languages in Boulogne sur Mer, visiting our partner school in France. We had a brilliant day working with the French teachers and children improving all of our language skills. We took part in French and English conversations with the children, we shared examples of work books and stories. Before leaving for France, we asked some Year 3 and Year 6 children to write postcards to the French children that we could then pass on. The French children have very kindly written replies for us to bring back to Plantation to share with the children and we are very hopeful that this exchange will continue through letters, emails and skype conversations so that we can continue to celebrate, share and improve our language skills.
