Lizzie and the Birds

For the past two weeks, the whole school has enjoyed reading Lizzie and the Birds. This book, written by Dawn Robertson, explores the themes of love, friendship and trust. The main character, Lizzie, soon becomes acquainted with a rag-taggle group of tweeting, squawking birds who could be the answer to all of her problems.

We have produced some fantastic writing relating to the book such as magic spellings, prequels, instructions and non-chronological reports. Each year group has also produced its own beautiful display dedicated to the birds of the book.
