This week, we have continued to learn about numbers up to 999 and their values in Mathematics by trying a variety of challenges with our maths buddies. We have also performed 'Kung Fu' in English to help us understand when to use certain pieces of punctuation. At the end of the week, Mr Hanley came to speak to us about a new 'prefect' scheme that will be introduced in a couple of weeks. If chosen, we will have the opportunity to be positive role models for our Y1 and Y2 children by visiting their classes to show them how to do certain tasks, such as lining up sensibly and presenting our work.
Well done to Nikolina and Jack for receiving the 'Star of the Week' award this week!
