Bikeability - Upper 5
Date: 4th Nov 2017 @ 12:52pm
On Wednesday 1st November, Upper 5 took part in their first of two session of Bikeability training. The children spent the morning learning how to look after and maintain their bikes, how to start and stop correctly and safely and how to ride at a safe distance from one another. Then, in the afternoon, the children went out in their groups around the roads of Halewood, learning how to ride safely on roads, how to stop at junctions and how to share the road with other users.
All the children thoroughly enjoyed the day and they're looking forward to next week.
We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone at Bikeability for offering this fantasticly beneficial training programme for our children.
