Safer Internet Day (Parents and carers)
Date: 3rd Feb 2019 @ 8:52pm
Safer Internet Day will be celebrated on Tuesday 5th February with the slogan 'Together for a better internet'. This year's focus is all about consent and how consent works in an online context and will explore how young people ask, give and receive consent online.
The UK Safer Internet Centre have put a pack together to give parents and carers ideas on how to talk to their children about using the internet and technology positively and safely. The pack should hopefully support your family in having conversations and taking part in activities which will have a positive impact on your online experiences.
The pack has been attached below for you to access.
