Water Cycle Experiment - Upper 5

Date: 8th Jan 2018 @ 1:21pm

We did an experiment on the water cycle. We went in groups of four, two of us done hot water and the other two done cold water. So what we done is drawn the water cycle on a plastic sellable bag with a sharpie. Then we filled the bag with water (measuring it with a measuring tube first) depending on if you were doing hot water or cold water. Next we put food colouring in the bag to make the water look like the Ocean. Then we put the bag on the bag on the window and waited for a few minutes. Every couple of minutes we went up to check on the bag to see if the hot water or cold water evaporated quicker. The hot water evaporated a lot quicker than the cold water. The cold water only evaporated over night!
