You might not have all the resources at home in order to complete some experiments. If this is the case, why not make a prediction on what you think will happen? Then find a video on YouTube where someone does the experiment.

Spelling Shed

Your child's login details can be found in their school planner. Class teachers will update Spelling Shed with Year 6's weekly spelling lists to practise.

Accelerated Reader

Children can access Accelerated Reader and complete quizzes between the hours of 9am and 3pm.  




Children can go to and sign in using their class password below. This is an excellent, interactive reading resource that can be using during school hours, 9am to 3pm.

Reading Eggs

Your child's login details can be found in their school planner. Staff will update this site and set new activities for children to complete.

Two reading comprehension tasks have been assigned to all Year 6 children. Login to complete 'Why Parrots Only Repeat What People Say' and 'On the Trail of the GOLDEN MAN'.

Our current topic is ‘The Shang Dynasty’. In recent lessons, we were learning about oracle bones and the beliefs of the Shang people. You can recap our learning by following the links below:

Our next lesson is to think about how different people lived during the Shang Dynasty.
