19.1217 - Upper School Table Tennis Intra-School competition
Date: 20th Dec 2017 @ 1:12pm
What a way to end a fantastic year of sport at Plantation! We had 27 children participate in our very own table tennis competition and it was fantastic! The children were put into groups and got the chance to play each other in competitive matches. The children also officiated and recorded scores for each other! After everyone had played each once, the top two from each group went through to the quarter finals. We continued playing matches until we had our final four competitors. They were Harvey H, Elliot H, Alfie M and Finnley C. There were two very close semi-final matches, but our final match was between Harvey H and Alfie M. The standard of table tennis was superb, but Alfie M's expert serve was the difference in the final match and he was crowned champion! Finnley won his third place playoff against Elliot, meaning that 3rd place was Finnley, 2nd place was Harvey H and 1st place was Alfie M!
Well done to everyone who participated and thank you to all of the parents who came to support all of the children!
