Love to Learn, Aspire to Achieve!

At Plantation Primary School in Halewood we are a thriving community with a deeply caring ethos at the heart of everything we do. We have high expectations for both the acadmic and social development of our pupils and we aim to esnure our children get lots of educational experiences and learn to be kind, caring people.  We value creativity and enjoyment in all lessons and as such were awarded The School Games Gold award in 2017, Healthy Schools for the second time in 2017, recognising our work to ensure our pupils and community lead active, healthy lifestyles. We also have Artsmark Gold (recognising our work in the Performing Arts) and Activemark accreditation. We were also awarded the Reading Quality Mark Silver Award in 2016-17 and the Liverpool Counts Silver Quality Mark for Mathematics in 2017-18. We are also double winners of the Outstanding  Commitment to PE & Sport in the ‘Educate Awards’ 2017 and 2018!  Our most recent OFSTED inspection (November 2018) confirmed that we continue to be a ‘Good’ school overall.
