Online safety
Our PSHE and computing curriculum support pupils to be safe online.
We work with parents to support online safety at home when we need to without judgement. This is part of working together to make sure that children are safe and happy. We can help you with device advice and ensuring the correct controls are in place. We can speak to your child with you to support online behaviour at home.
If your child has an online device, this needs to be closely supervised. Please check your child's phone with them regularly to make sure that they are safe. The 'Questions to help you start a conversation with your child about online safety' document posted below is very helpful.
We have also posted some links below on how to keep your child safe on various popular social media sites and other top information on how you can support your child to stay safe online and what sites to look out for.
Please note the age restrictions for each one and ask whether your child should be using these sites.
