Arts Award Visit to the Williamson Art Gallery

Date: 13th Jun 2018 @ 9:24pm

The arts award club had a fantastic time at the Williamson Art Gallery yesterday with our partner school, Devonshire Park Primary School. We were shown around the gallery by the Curator. We did some quizzes, drama and freeze frame based upon the art work. We then worked with a professional artist in the afternoon to make Totem Poles. Our next job is to teach the rest of the children in our class how to make them. A great day was had by all. Have a look at the pictures and feel free to comment.

It was a wondeful day at the Williamson Art Gallery and what super children and staff attend Plantation School! I was very impressed with the children's knowledge of Art Movements ( well done Mr Palmer) The children at Devonshire Park and myself are so looking forward to more joint ventures.
