Year 6 Residential: PGL Boreatton Park
Our Year 6 children will be attending their residential trip to PGL Boreatton Park, Shrewsbury from Wednesday 23rd September to Friday 25th September.
This page contains key information to help families prepare for the trip (information below and documents attached at the bottom of the page). Please check the documents carefully, especially the kit list, as children will need to bring important items including a sleeping bag or duvet, pillow, suitable clothing and appropriate footwear.

Even if school are already aware of conditions or needs, please complete the form as this will be sent to PGL. Please include any medication the children will be taking during their stay at PGL (including travel sickness, hay fever release etc.)
Important Information
Parent Information Meeting
There will be an optional parent information meeting on Wednesday 9th September at 3.30pm. We will go through the key information and answer any questions.
Medical and Dietary Information
All parents/carers must complete the medical and dietary form, even if school already knows about your child’s needs. This information will be shared with PGL. Please include any medication your child may need, including travel sickness tablets, hay fever relief or prescribed medication.

We are currently finalising the staffing arrangements and will share this information at the parent meeting and on this page once confirmed.

Getting to Boreatton Park Information
Kit List Reminders
Please make sure all items are clearly named. Children will need suitable clothes for outdoor activities, including clothes that can get wet or muddy. PGL recommend bringing 2 pairs of trainers, with one pair suitable for activities and one old pair for watersports.
Children should not bring electrical devices, computer games, valuables, aerosols, flip flops, Crocs or sandals.
Pocket Money
PGL recommend £10–£20 pocket money for the gift shop.

Mobile phone signal may be poor. If you need to get in touch, please contact the school office during school hours on 0151 487 5678 and school will contact a member of staff at PGL.
Pupil mobile phones are not permitted.
