NOTICE OF BUILDING WORK AND SCHOOL REDEVELOPMENT 2023-2024
Please be advised that from July 2023 to September 2024 our school is undertaking significant building work and refurbishment.
ALL SCHOOL VISITORS MUST report to Reception and ensure their identification issued at the School Office is worn at all times.
ALL CONTRACTORS MUST ensure they are signed in at their Site Office and compound, known to the Site Manager, and the relevant identification worn at all times.
PARENTS & CARERS MUST ensure children are supervised at all times when in their care and ensure they do not stray from sight.

Sign Language in Year Two

We were lucky to have a visit from Mrs Parry today to teach us some sign language. As part of our science topic, we learnt about Koko the gorilla who could sign. Mrs Parry taught us to sign the alphabet, our names and some phrases . It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed learning this new skill. We also enjoyed finding out why people need to sign and developing our empathy for others. Use the posters that we've sent home to practise finger signing.
