World Book Day 2018- Lower 6
Date: 7th Mar 2018 @ 1:06pm
We all really enjoyed World Book Day 2018. This year, instead of dressing up as our favourite characters, we came to school wearing red, white and blue to symbolise the Australian flag. Our class book was called 'Stories from the Billabong' and we loved hearing lots of ancient legends of the Yorta-Yorta people, one of Australia's Aboriginal tribes. We discovered why Kangaroo has a pouch, what made Frog croak and just what it is that makes Platypus so special. We produced some fantastic writing and artwork, as well as spending time reading our favourite class books. Well done to everyone for your fantastic outfits and taking part so brilliantly.
