Online Panto
As we are not able to take the children out for a Panto or local cinema trip we will be bringing the Panto to Plantation instead. The children will stay in their class bubbles and visit either the Small Hall or Main Hall to watch ‘Cinderella’ by The Mercury Theatre online.
As part of their Panto treat, they will also be given a bag of Haribo and those that are on the ‘Nice’ list will get a Selection Box which Santa has organised and dropped off at school already.
Christmas Running Challenge
As part of our PE lessons and on the dates indicated above the children will be involved in two different Christmas runs. All the classes will take part to aim to cover 145 miles in total which is the distance from Santa’s house in Lapland to the UK.
They will also be running a 1 Mile Fun Run organised by Halewood Town Council. Unfortunately, the event can’t go ahead as the local Town Council would have wanted so we will run it in school and each child taking part will get a medal. The Town Council has asked for donations to be made to The Listening Ear which can be done by following the link here.
FIRST DAY BACK IN THE NEW YEAR IS: MONDAY 4TH JANUARY
SCHOOL STARTS AGAIN IN THE NEW YEAR AND OUR CURRENT STAGGERED START AND FINISH TIMES WILL REMAIN IN PLACE. OUR SAFETY MEASURES WILL REMAIN IN PALCE THROUGHOUT SCHOOL AND, AS ALWAYS, WILL BE REVIEWED IN THE EVENT OF ANY CHANGING GOVERNMENT GUIDANCE FOR SCHOOLS.
