02.07.18 - Knowsley Rounders Competition

On Monday, we took a team of 9 to the Knowsley Rounders competition. We started off fantastically well with two comfortable victories. The girls were particularly impressive with their fielding and batting skills! The third match saw us up against Whiston Willis, and it was a very tight game. After a nervous final few minutes, we managed to get the points needed to secure a draw and keep our hopes of progressing to the final alive. However, the final match required us to beat a Ravenscroft team that hadn't been beaten! A couple of silly outs meant that we lost the match 7-6 and as a result, we finished second in our group. Nevertheless, all of the children were brilliant on the day.
