Miss McKimm leaving Plantation

Dear parent/carer

You should by now have received your child's end of year report by email.  With this report there was also information about where children will be moving to in the new school year.

The eagle eyed among you will have spotted that Miss McKimm will not be with us in September as she comes to the end of her temporary contract at our school.

Miss McKimm has been an excellent teacher and a valued member of staff throughout her time at Plantation and I hope you all agree that she has been a real asset to the school and your child's learning.

It is an even harder move due to the current Covid-19 situation and partial closure of school.  As stated in yesterday's news item we cannot accept any gifts for staff except from those families currently attending school.  I am sure Miss McKimm would love to hear any messages from you via her class Twitter account or if you wanted to email a message to the School Office, they will be happy to pass these on too.

Miss McKimm is a great teacher, kind and warm-hearted person with so much to give to this profession and we hope that maybe she could one day to return to Plantation as she will be greatly missed by us all.
