School places and Well-being

Good morning everyone!  We hope that all of our school community is keeping well in these unusual and uncharted times.

To help with the potential emotional pressures of this situation we have provided a link below to the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families.  The website may have useful support and ideas for you and your children.

Over the next few days we will post both here on the News Flash and via the school’s main Twitter @PlantationPS some further links to different organisations and web based resources that you could find useful to support the needs of you and your family.

SCHOOL PLACES

We would also like to thank our families for keeping their children safe by keeping them away from school unless they are a key worker and cannot work from home.

We cannot reiterate enough that for any family, if you can work from home you MUST keep your children away from school.

This minimises risk to your children, your family, other children and their families who have no other alternatives, our staff and their families too.

Think of everyone and keep your children at home when and if you can.  This is a time when we must think of and support everyone.

Instances of children being sent to school when there is a parent/carer at home to look after them cannot be tolerated and children may be sent home where this is the case.

Thank you to those parents/carers who are already only sending their child/children to school when they HAVE to go to work.
