French Club!

Bonjour!

Monday 7th November was the first time our French club ran after school for Year 1 and 2 children. This week we had a turn out of 36 children! We were so impressed :) 

We began our club with learning different greetings (Bonjour, Bonsoir, Bonnuit, Salut) and practised asking each other how we were feeling. We had lots of thumbs up!

We then played Jacques a dit (Simon says), practising different classroom commands. The children did so well at this, we ended up with more than one winner!

Before we went home, we touched briefly on numbers 0-10, and we were amazed at how easily the children picked up on this and were able to recite the numbers to 10 quickly and correctly.

We are really looking forward to next week!

Remember: New finishing time of 4.30 and children will be picked up from the Staffroom door.
