Dear Parents/Carers,
Please find below your child’s home learning pack. If your child was in school on Thursday 19th or Friday 20th March, they will have all of the resources below in the folders sent home.
The pack contains:
- Reading comprehension work (answers included)
- Maths work and test papers (answers included)
- SPaG work (answers included)
- Weekly spellings to learn
- Year 5/6 spellings to learn
Your child's login details for the following sites can be found in their school planners:
- Mathletics
- Times Tables Rockstars
- Reading Eggs
- Spelling Shed
Your child can complete a variety of maths and English work on these sites. Staff will update the sites with new activities to complete.
A class login for the website getepic.com is included. This can be used between 9am and 3pm as an additional reading resource. Please continue to read with your child, recording it in their planner.

We have also asked children to keep a diary of their time and experiences at home during the school closures. We have been writing diary entries recently in school so the children know the features of this style of writing.
Staff will also use their class Twitter pages and Year 6A's class blog to post updates and share any further resources that the children can access at home.
We understand that this may not be an easy time and, as such, ask that you only use the resources as you see necessary over the time your child may be absent from school.
