Lower 6- Science Week
Date: 15th Mar 2018 @ 5:06pm
We have really enjoyed Science week and we have had lots of fun carrying out different science experiments using skittles! Our main investigation was to find out whether different colours of skittles lose their colour quicker than others when placed in water. We planned, predicted, carried out the experiment and then recorded our findings like true scientists, making sure to keep it a fair test. We discovered that skittles do lose their colours at different speeds, with purple skittles being the last to lose all of their colour in water. We also carried out the experiment using milk and that time the purple skittle actually lost its colour the quickest, what a surprise! We love Science in Lower 6 :)
