Orienteering

We have recently had our school grounds mapped and had orienteering markers put up. Children at Plantation can now enjoy outdoor and adventurous activities including orienteering in their PE and Geography lessons. This will provide the children with hours of fun whilst helping imrove their map reading skills, their compass reading skills, build self-reliance, improve decision making skills and develop a link between the physical and the mind.
