Reception Sports Day

For the very first time, Plantation will hold a Sports Day for their Reception children. It will be on Wednesday 20th July. It will begin at 1.15pm and finish approximately 2.15pm.

KMCSPORTS will be running the event this year, and it will be a multi-sports circuit competition. It will contain a mix of competitive and fun multi-sport team events.

The event will take place on the school field.

Your child needs to bring with them a bottle of water and, if necessary, some sun cream.

Your child should wear their Plantation PE Kit with suitable trainers for sports activities on grass.

Parent spectators are welcome.

The children will enter and leave the playing field with their class and will stay with their class as they move around the different events. Parents are asked to remain in the designated parent seating area and to not follow their child around the stations for safeguarding reasons. To ensure the children’s safety it is imperative to remember that under no circumstances can they leave their class or the playing field.

Parents will be able to take their children home when the session has finished at approximately 2.15pm. If you cannot attend the event, you can collect your child at the usual time and place at the end of the school day.
