New Security and Safeguarding Procedures

• School clubs – Any children attending any after school clubs (NOT extended hours) should be picked up at the main office. Please wait outside the door and children will be brought through by the teacher/coach.

• Main gates – The main gates will now be closed at 3.30pm meaning that parents picking children up from after school clubs or extended hours club will not be able to park onsite. Please park in surrounding area, as you would do at the usual home time of 3:15pm, giving consideration to our neighbours at all times.

• Sometimes the main gates will be opened to let staff out; please do not use this as an opportunity to drive into the school grounds.

• Extended Hours – Extended hours children should be picked up at the same doors as always (Y5/6 doors at the side of the school where most children enter of a morning). Please use the bell to contact extended office staff and do not enter the building unaccompanied.

• Trispen Road gates – These are only open at the beginning and the end of the school day. They will be closed from about 3.45pm.

• Swimming – Classes attending swimming should be picked up at the Year 5/6 door as usual (doors at the side of the school where most children enter of a morning).

All the above have been put in place following one of our regular reviews of safety and safeguarding procedures. The procedures are in place to ensure the safety of your children and we thank you in advance for your support with this matter.
