RHS Tatton Park Show - children’s build day 1 and 2

Day 1

Back at Tatton Park for our dragonfly garden today (Wednesday) and this time we have a crack team of gardening enthusiasts with us - our children!

They have got stuck in straight away and done a fantastic job with the planting so far.  We are having to hold them back a bit so as there are still jobs for our second team tomorrow!

Our dragonfly garden is coming along superbly, well done to everyone!

Day 2

New team of children with us Tatton Park today to add the finishing touches to our dragonfly garden.  They have got stuck in straight away and worked through methodically and professionally to finish off the planting ands check through the whole garden.  

This has been the first time we have had rain while being here but it hasn’t stopped them.  No complaints and just got on with things.  Sun is back out at the moment, children had their lunch under cover and then straight back out there!

With skills and hard work like this from our children, I wonder if we can get them working all across school and save us some money with our Grounds Maintenance bills.
