Slow Down For Bobby assembly

A big thank you to Jude Lennon and The Slow Down for Bobby campaign for their assembly today on safe parking.

This is an issue for us as unfortunately we still have parents parking in places that make it unsafe for children. You may remember Bobby Colleran and how he was killed outside his infant school in an accident.

To reduce the chance of this happening here, please park safely. This means:

• Away from the school gates.
• Not on Zig Zags.
• Not blocking the pavement (think of wheelchairs and prams).
• Not parking by no parking signs.

Ask your children about this tonight. I am sure they will remember and might even remind you.
