Number Bonds to make 5-Lower 3

Date: 27th Sep 2016 @ 8:29pm

This week we are starting to look closely at our number bonds to make 5, alongside our Maths Mastery lessons every day. Today we started by using cubes to split the number 5 into two parts (1 and 4, 2 and 3) then reversing the number bonds. We experimented with our own cubes, and started trying to remember the number facts from memory! We found this quite tricky, but we know with practice it will soon come naturally!

If you can help your child with these at home, it will be beneficial as we will be building our understanding from number bonds to make 5, all the way to 10! See me if you are unsure or need any advice :)

Thanks for your support,

Miss Brown
