Welcome to Mrs Rotherham’s class

Date: 16th Sep 2016 @ 12:58pm

I hope you have all had a fantastic holiday and are now ready to work hard and achieve your goals. All the children, including the four boys who joined our class this year, have settled in well and are working together as a team!

The first week back we completed our, ‘All about me’ posters. (Pictures to follow in our Class Gallery soon.)

We also made some mosaics. (Pictures to follow in our Class Gallery soon.)

This week we have been introduced to the amazing Egyptians. We have learned how to write out names in hieroglyphics and made a cartouche. Also this week, we celebrated 100 years of the fabulous story writer, Roald Dahl. We spent all day making models inspired by his books. Mrs Rotherham was stressing about the mess in class – but we cleaned it up for her :0) Our winner was Joel W, he produced a cute tortoise from the book Esio Trot, which spelt backwards is tortoise. A very worthy winner!

Here are a few important things for you to remember.
