Attendance Termly Figures
Below is the attendance figures for the first term of school – September 4th to October 25th. The minimum target for each class is 97%. As you can see, only one class managed to achieve this figure - well done to Miss Dixon's class.
This term we will be looking for an improvement in attendance across the school but we need your help in order to achieve this. Please avoid holidays during term time and try to ensure your child is in school every day possible.
At Plantation, we share your desire for your child to have the best education they can to allow them to be successfully in life. Our children only get one chance at school, and their future may be affected by not attending school regularly. Research has shown that children who do not attend school regularly struggle to keep up with schoolwork and miss out on the social side of school life affecting the child’s ability to make and keep friendships; a vital part of growing up.
Please help us to improve attendance across school this term.
