Making our school safe for September

Dear parents/carers

As we quickly approach the end of the summer break I hope you and your families have had a safe and enjoyable holiday period.

As you will no doubt be aware, all schools in England will reopen this September for all children in all year groups on a full time basis.

The Department for Education (DfE) has published guidance for schools on the measures which must, should and could be implemented to make schools safe for the return of our children.

Today, 18 August, I have published our informaiton for you on the steps we are taking and our expectations to keep people safe at Plantation.

Please see our section 'Covid-19' and the related pages which go through the main items you will need to know, particularly the slight alteration to start and finish times for certain year groups.

We all want the children at Plantation to return back to us full time and in a safe way.  Please do your part by following the guidance from the DfE and our measures carefully, and ensure you follow government guidance on measures for the gerneal public when you are not in school.

Please click here for the DfE guidance for parents and carers.

I look forward to us returning back to school and working together to keep our school community safe.

Many thanks, Mr Hanley
